sassy 21 year old coffee, chocolate & fashion addict figuring this crazy, frustrating, beautiful life out one unfiltered blog post at a time
Toronto
As I'm sure you've gathered my names Eric. I'm twenty three years old and enjoy many things but mostly not at the same time. My interests shift quite a bit and I don't see things like the people that are in my life; not that others may not agree with me, but it seems it doesn't happen often. I guess we'll see, or not.
I want to get my thoughts and ideas out there to people that are interested; I want to do so in a thoughtful and love oriented manner, though that is increasingly difficult in some areas of life. I want to encourage thinking, the broadening of perspective and respect whilst writing here and hopefully I'll receive that in kind.

I love to write and also started a new blog on blogger. It is an inspiration and motivation. Sometimes it's best to share it here rather than with those around you who have yet to understand you.

Military for 40 years without ever joining. 17 yrs with dad and 23 with the ex. Europe, central and south America, and the great United States of America, have been my playground. The life of a daughter, wife, mother and now a 15 year divorcee of men who had dreams and daughters I no longer know. I lived dreams beyond anything I could have imagined. I just went with it and the ride was awesome, even if filled with challenges. Dreams of espionage and dangerous missions, families left behind .... Well that was them, yes and me, but my story is yet to be told. I wonder if I really have a dream, a story. Well I'm about to find out. I'm just gonna write..write here. That was then this is now.

Hi I am Andrew Ash
and I am originally from West Yorkshire and now I live in East Yorkshire And I live On the Yorkshire coast.
I was in the care system at the age of eight to the age of 16. when I left I had no one to turn to And I was now on my own And I had no formal qualifications To get a job The care system juice doesn't seem to want to teach you anything. in fact they didn't even teach you the exams never mind doing them so I was never asked to sit the exams.
I finally took my first exam at 19 when I sat the exam in college. I was studying camera and video editing and radio production city and Guilds level one I started college at 18 and past the course with flying colours. To be fair the college gave me because of my disabilities a special package and a private tutor and a notetaker, Plus extra time to do the course and Sit the exam In.
I then did some work on the hospital radio for a couple of hours a week which I really enjoyed doing and then I went to London where I went to naypic - National Association of Young People in Care - as I had been a victim of abuse from the age of 8 to 20 in and out of The Care System And now I am 45 and thanks to the National Association of young people in care I was able to turn my life round.
Today I am a full-time carer for the disabled. And I still stand up for the abused in carer and still doing things on it as well as doing things for the disabled and I still campaign when I can.

I have been amused my entire life. I have also realized that I'm a "seeker of truth," which is often clouded within the swirling vapors of politics, religion and hogwash. My greatest joy is writing. My books, stories, observations, rants and on occasion, nonsense.
I hope to experience an epiphany of excellent enlightenment and new found wisdom in my elder years, if not, I will most likely just open a stall at the local flea market, sell collectible lunch boxes and drink beer. I do hope you will take time and indulge yourself in a few of my scripts and if you enjoy them, then I'm happy. If they are not to your taste, well then bite me.
Thanks......Charlie

Some days are golden. Moments overwhelm you with beauty and light and make you feel you might explode. Other days are a dull grey, or black, or just empty, and you drift from moment to moment wondering what that fleeting, nameless sensation you feel about your heart is. It seems to me that too often feelings cannot catch up with thoughts, or perhaps it is the other way around, and what we feel cannot be put into coherent words or even thoughts, because it is the metaphysical and is not meant to be explained or analysed. Our lives are made up of moments and thoughts. This is a way to recording some of mine.

Hello, My name is Ronnie Nelson. I am a 21 year old female from orange county CA. I am engaged to the love of my life. And currently have no children. My family and friends are everything to me and I'd do anything for them. I actually lost my father at the age of 18, and this is what my blog is about. I want to help those who have lost or currently dealing with the sickness of their parents. I know I can be helpful or at least be an ear to those that are grieving or have questions. Maybe you can meet someone on here that you relate to. I never had a safe place where people understood what I was going through. That's my goal here. Ask me questions make comments, I wont ever get offended thats what this is for <3
not really sure who I am, or who I want to be, but I know that writing is where I feel safe and free and understood.

My only goal in life is to experience everything. Because I know that is impossible for one life time, I try to experience through other peoples stories, poems and ideas. I try to write to express my experience in such a way you can feel it the exact same way I felt it, which might be a feeling you have never had the opportunity to feel due to your personal situation. In writing I look for whether or not I can connect to a piece of writing to a point it makes me feel like I have an idea of what the experience or emotion the writer is conveying actually is. I want finish the reading feeling like something I have felt and can relate to was very accurately described, or experience a feeling I've never had the opportunity to before.

A committed author and poet, I have spent the last four years (and two years in Seoul, South Korea before that) teaching English in Beijing, China, where I have found, as well as hiking and many great lifelong friends, a lot of inspiration for my novels and poetry.
The shock and awe of living in the grey, smoggy Beijing suburb of Xi'erqi, when contrasted with the green splendour of the surrounding mountains has had a profound impact upon my poetical mind. As such I am currently compiling a collection of sonnets entitled "Made in China" that revolves around much of the people and environments I have directly come into contact with.
A passionate Older Children's and early Young Adults writer, I have also just published my debut novel, "Jack Strong and the Red Giant" on Amazon:

I am currently editing the sequel as well as writing a new novel called "Dragon Rider" about a young boy who finds a dragon in the woods ...

Like most of you, I am overly critical of my own work. Everything that I wrote two years ago makes me cringe today, and everything that I write today will likely have the same effect two years from now. In the past I have been discouraged by this, but as I get older I realize this is why I must continue to write. If I scoff at how foolish yester-me sounds, it must mean that I'm getting better, or wiser. I must produce the best work I can in the present, and look forward to the progress that the future indubitably holds.

I've been a person with a low self-esteem, a woman married to a man who not only stomped on my ideas and dreams, he laughed in my face, and told that I was nothing without him. I was a married woman who felt so alone. I was a woman who felt like life didn't matter because I didn't matter.

CHARLTON, LONDON
I am an Irish writer and lecturer living in London who had my first work of fiction published in 2014. 'The Charlton Men', the first part of a trilogy set in South London, combines literary fiction with a love of football. Set in the historic surrounds of Greenwich and Charlton, the novel interweaves the rich heritage of the area's past with contemporary themes of social disenfranchisement and a search for meaning.
The book has done well so far in terms of sales and publicity but I am always keen to attract new readers. This platform is a showcase of some of my work, which I would rather share for free than sell on Kindle for example. I write not for profit but because of a love of stories and language, something that I have had all my life, from as early as I can remember.
Outside of writing and teaching I am interested in travel, music, film, football, craft beer, and photography. I also write articles for blogs, newspapers, and academic journals.

Darren Scanlon was born in 1965 and lives in the Northwest of England. A typical 'northern lad', his sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek humour and writing style has earned him 5 Star Ratings on Amazon for both his novels and his poetry which he has been writing since the age of 18 and is published on websites including High On Poems where he has achieved much success and great reviews:
"We at High On Poems are blessed to have found such a treasure as you amongst our midst. Your poetry is thought provoking and shakes one up. You obviously are a powerful wielder of words!"
His work to date includes his debut comedy novel called Hey Up, Matron! A tough out loud, roller-coaster ride through a day in the life of a NHS hospital ward from the point of view of the long-suffering patients; two books into the gritty crime/gangster thriller Danny Roberts Series – Broken Angel – Broken Wings; four volumes of poetry, Positively Poetic Vol 1-4; an illustrated children’s novel, (based on one of his own poems), called A Mouse’s Tale and an illustrated children’s ABC book called Alphabet Zoo.
He is currently working on his latest novel, Way Back When, which is a comical look at childhood now and back in the 1970’s and how life has changed. Future projects are book 3 of Danny Roberts, an illustrated children’s poetry collection and another illustrated ABC book.

In my many hours watching Scott and Bailey with my mum I have learnt that there are a variety of psychopaths out there and for that reason I won’t providing my name, address or anything that could have me killed!
I aspire to become a Journalist and enter Politics (no sarcasm). I am somewhat of a chatterbox when it comes to speaking; I know this because my teachers always threatened to sellotape my mouth during classes! Anyways I hope to share with you my views and work and whatever comes in my head really.
Here are 5 facts about me:
-When my mum was pregnant with me the doctors told her to have an abortion because I would not survive
-I have green eyes which sometimes change colour depending on my mood (especially when I cry)
-I have something against forgetting to rub out bits of writing on the board , it kind of just makes my eyes go dry :/
-I have never lived outside of South London
-My birthday is 3 days before Christmas so I never get b’day punches at school

I think I was about eight years old when I knew I wanted to be an author. I would tap away on an old typewriter; I was excited beyond belief when I got a new one for a birthday. I devoured books, head continually buried inside. Enid Blyton at that time was the most inspiring of authors as she took me away from my world and placed me into the ones she’d created.
I wrote whenever I could, at school in break-time and any creative writing tasks in English were my personal Utopia. I even used to read my stories aloud to whoever would listen. I discovered that I too could create worlds to escape to of my own making. That was a powerful discovery, a drug, an addiction to which I have no intention of curing at rehab!
Life got in the way as it inevitably does. I had a son who has a learning disability and very complex behavioural needs. For many years, he had to be my main focus. Eventually, I was able to start thinking about writing again, and I threw myself into it with a vengeance.
“As Dream Are Made on” is the only story I have in the public domain. I do, however, have a number of short stories and novels in the pipeline at varying stages of completion that I am very excited about. I hope to be able to publish them soon. I hope you will read and enjoy doing as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
The actual act of writing is a very solitary experience, but there is nothing more satisfying than when you have poured every part of yourself into your writing, and you are left drained, but euphoric. I will never forget the look on the face of an overly confident, good-looking guy I met on holiday. I was in the middle of a really good writing session, the words were flowing faster than my pen could write, I was desperate to get it all down on paper before it was lost. He interrupted that flow as he sought to engage me with his rather cheesy chat up lines. It was inevitable…I chose my writing over him. What can I say other than the urge to write is strong and I am but a willing slave.

Rose is a dreamer, preferring a simple & quiet life. Often spending time alone, although never lonely, being ever surrounded by great characters when lost in a good book. She loves theatre and the arts, adoring live performances on stage. Rose has very eclectic tastes.
Working as a school librarian, and sharing her love of books with the children was the best job she ever had. However, life moves on and another chapter was only a page turn away.
Now working in an entirely different library, in Hereford's Wye Valley NHS Trust Hospital, Rose spends her day cleaning and issuing 'Medical Equipment'.

I am Zuzana, but I write under the pseudonym Maria Pelisek. You may know me as the author of the captivating book, "The Day I Packed for Heaven and When Death, Jesus, and I Met at the Crossroads."
I consider myself an ordinary girl, yet I have an extraordinary friend.
There was a time when I believed refusing chemotherapy and surviving was the most significant miracle of my life. But as I discovered, I was mistaken.
The true miracle lay in the empowering friendship that blossomed when I dedicated time to honestly knowing Him.
It all unfolded one serene Sunday afternoon. I earnestly implored God for a guiding light to conquer Death, and in a miraculous twist, He answered by presenting Himself as my guiding force.
Who would have thought that God is not just a distant idea, but a living presence among us?

Born in the early 80s in Limerick City, Republic of Ireland to an unmarried teen mother. In 2015 it's socially acceptable with MTV Generations Teen Mom/ 16 & Pregnant, but back then in Ireland it was a very shameful scandal. I was the product of that. I didn't have any parents growing up, just my Grandmother. I had a rebellious youth, drinking taking drugs. Found myself homeless in London at the age of 16. Was then given an almost 100k euro inheritance at 17 which I spent in 10 months. I didn't just waste it on myself. I was a bleeding heart. I went from extreme poverty, and desperation to having more then I needed. When I enrolled in college. I would see people who couldn't afford lunch so I would buy food for the whole class so I could feed those who couldn't feed themselves and not have to single them out, and make them feel uncomfortable accepting a hand out. Protecting the ego and pride of others cost me a lot. People took advantage, stole from me. Then I had nothing and a lot of the "friends" disappeared. But not Jason. We were best friends. A few years later we started our own business. A small clothes shop. Even though we weren't seeking any funding or investment, no bank would give us a business account. It is neigh on impossible to run a business without banking facilities. It caused a lot of strain on the partnership, he left the business and I struggled on alone as best I could. This was during the modern recession. But in the end it was the weather that killed the business. The ice and snow killed off what little passing trade I had. In all the plans and prep never once had I considered the weather as a factor in running a shop. I had to cut losses and call it a day. It's tough watching your dreams die. I then spent the next 5 years taking care of my Grandmother. Single handedly managing her pallative care for bladder cancer. Until her death just before Christmas 2014. Jason killed himself 2013. I have a lot of unconventional personal material to write about. I just hope that I can find an audience.

I've always been shy, although in recent years that has changed somewhat and I'm more outspoken. I used to write poetry and am an avid reader. I'm not very good at things like this where I talk myself...i tend to favor quiet time in the rare times i can get it.

Life has never been fair to me. But who hasn't been on the shitty end of the stick? I used to have another blog on however life happens and people grow. So here I am. 24 years young trying to figure this all out with coffee, some bud and no clue what i am doing half the time. Enjoy my writing because its probably going to be a lovely disaster.

I am fan of the PBS cartoon Word Girl, super hero cartoons Superman, Justice League of America, Batman. Sports i like include American football, synchronized swimming, triathalon, bowling, golf and comedies like I Love Lucy and Three Stooges. Just take my remarks about sports teams with a grain of salt since it is in satire.

My name is Andrew and I enjoy a few good things in life like watching movies, keeping fit with regular cycling and walking on a treadmill which I purchased for my flat! The most important thing to me though and what I really loves is books and writing, they both go hand in hand I think. I've lived quite a sheltered life and I'm not really the social butterfly, I don't know what that is!
I also like to escape into good PS4 and XBox one games, the environments they can create these days! Anyway, glad I've found this site and I shall definitely release my thoughts here!
