I'm a long time amateur writer that has entered the professional field after struggling with the decision far too much. I'm independent, analytical and usually a bit of a smart ass. I'm a chronic insomniac who long ago traded a good night's sleep for caffeine when I realized only one of them was easy to get and useful to me over the course of a long day. My greatest accomplishment in life so far is helping my sister by taking care of her kids when they were babies - though I haven't seen them in years.
My work tends to be fantastic in nature but grounded in style. I'm the kind of guy who'll write about dragons and explain to you just how something so big could fly. My first novel series, self-published (out of pure stubbornness, I assure you), views a society where creatures of folklore have come to reveal themselves as part of the human race, explained by genetics and medical mysteries throughout history.
I guess you could call me a nerd.
