Some days are golden. Moments overwhelm you with beauty and light and make you feel you might explode. Other days are a dull grey, or black, or just empty, and you drift from moment to moment wondering what that fleeting, nameless sensation you feel about your heart is. It seems to me that too often feelings cannot catch up with thoughts, or perhaps it is the other way around, and what we feel cannot be put into coherent words or even thoughts, because it is the metaphysical and is not meant to be explained or analysed. Our lives are made up of moments and thoughts. This is a way to recording some of mine.

I am an enthusiast of the English language. I currently attend a Sixth Form and have an admiration of the way poets can find the perfect words to create art.
I particularly enjoy writing poetry and I do hope that someday if I continue to improve my work that I can become a published poet.
I engage in life writing quite frequently as it's quite a cathartic experience to be able to read the events and concerns in my life as if it were a piece of fiction. It helps me to prioritise and organise my thoughts.

RA Hernandez is a young writer though aging rapidly, living in his home town of Dallas Texas, but never feeling at home in the city. So he writes to escape his implacable feeling of isolation amongst the petty sea of jaded faces. robertAhernandez13@gmail.com

I have a wonderful partner and together we have built a happy and contented life for ourselves with two beautiful children, I have a job which I love and have recently started a foundation degree. Life is good,
However I have to live with something which has had a huge impact on my life since I was child, throughout my teenage years and now as an adult. I grew up with an alcoholic parent, the effects of this are longlasting to put it mildly and when my worst fear of my father dying due to alcoholism became a reality in December 2013 I felt it was time to share my story in the hope that it could be the start of making changes and finding answers to this dreadful disease. My journey so far has introduced me to a whole new world of writers, research and opinions which has been great!
