Everyday more girls join in teams that were considered only for boys. Furthermore, more and more women are winning championships and are beating records. We aren’t different and we have to train a lot before we compete, too.

In my case, I practice one of the most masculine sports in the past. Luckily, motocross has changed a lot these last years. One girl in a motorbike is a symbol of power and a fight against gender differences. For example, the entire two wheels world knows Laia Sanz as the Queen of the desert. Why? She has taken part in different Rally Dakar editions and she has stood up in the middle of the boys. She has won several times Enduro and Trial world championships. Unintentionally, she has become an example of suppuration for a lot of women’s riders.

So, in my opinion, motocross is one of the sports that have improved more in gender different. Nowadays, it isn’t strange to see long hair under a helmet. Not only is it common but also, sponsors love them and they are very interested.
