Standing in the middle of the valley
I drag my foot through the sand
Making a circle around me
The place where I'll bury my secrets
A thousand years later they'll be wondering
Why my death wasn't honored

The floods have missed two cycles
The working man beginning to rot
My soul hangs somewhere in the breeze
My father has to put his sons first
But I'm still given a great responsibility
They won't give me the strength to take it on

And so I run, to the valley, to the dunes
Away from the city and far across the desert
The land that's untouched- that will be mine
No gods as man or men as gods
The new kingdom is here
