'Life is...'
She said
As Innocence touched dawn
Fawn limp first steps
A lamb opens their eyes
Dazed by shots of rays

She galloped through green
Her hair striking her delicate cheeks
Not a care to be seen

'... A choice that is yours...'
She said
Tasting the aroma of rose and fern
Clouds diffusing into light
Her doubts stifled by the fuel to fight

'... But why must choice be a question?'
She asked
The crickets sang in unison
Dandelion drooped small and proud
Her eyes indulged a new world

'Life is too beautiful to say goodbye...'
She said
A tear fell and glistened on the
Flower beds
Blonde locks tickled the tall grass
The rabbits were scurrying fast

'... I wish you chose to see it with me, Mother'
She whispered
Her head tilted up to the orange
And the red skies
She finally knew what it took to be alive
