In a move voting rights advocates fear would be used to “intimidate voters” if it became law, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced a plan to establish a - first of its kind in the US - “special police force” called the “Office of Election Crimes and Security,” to oversee elections within the state of Florida. This special force would be stationed at unspecified “field offices throughout the state” and act on tips from “government officials or any other person.”

Wait, Trump’s “Mini-Me” wants to do what? That said, I do get where Gov. DeSantis is coming from on this. After all, in those 2020 elections, too many “eligible” voters were able to cast votes for Democrats, and Republicans vow “not to let that s**t happen again.” Why, how can it be considered a “fair” election, if Democrats are allowed to vote too? And, let’s not forget all those pesky minorities, who also insist on voting.

Besides, what’s the big deal? Gov. DeSantis doesn’t have a problem with people voting. Why, just as long as you’re a “retired, elderly, white person” - you should be good to go. Look, I realize some folks are gonna criticize this move, but you have to realize that all Gov. DeSantis is really trying to do - is simply make sure people vote “correctly.” Is that too much to ask? And, if you vote incorrectly, it isn’t like someone’s gonna kill you. They’ll just send you off to a special “Reeducation Camp” somewhere in the Everglades, to teach you how to vote “right.”

And, there’s a good reason for that. Why, allow those “libtards” to vote, and the next thing you know, they’ll not only be voting for some Democrat, they’ll also be marrying someone of the same sex, collecting welfare payments, and aborting unborn fetuses - all right there in the voting booth! Of course, some may ask “why create a task force to address a problem that doesn’t even exist?” Well, the way Gov. DeSantis sees it, Florida has a big problem - and it’s called “voting.” What’s next for Florida you ask? Why, how about a state-sanctioned religion?
