World's Tallest and Longest Glass-Bottom Bridge Closes: Considered a feat of structural engineering, the world's highest and longest glass-bottom bridge in China has closed without explanation, less than two weeks after opening with much global fanfare.

Closed without explanation? When you close down a “glass bridge,” wouldn’t you expect the reason for the closing to be completely “transparent?” Wonder if was a structural issue or if they just ran out of Windex? Or perhaps the bridge only came with a one week warranty?

Either way, I say why not just rent all the tourists parachutes and tell them to “have a ball.” This kind of reminds me of that age-old old proverb, “People who walk across glass bridges - should never wear short skirts.”
