Where there once was neutral
There then was blue
Green came next with roses anew
Magenta enveloped him in a soft rose
And I could have sworn
his eyes were like gold
The words floated from his lips like smoke
And curled around in silver ropes
Tying me to him in an electric jolt
Of nervousness
Where there once was beige
There are now different hues
And who knows what can come soon
Yellow warms me and fills my mind
And now he is the only other
thought that I can find
My words they flow from my pen
an ink of river
striving to be read
by him
