The following letter was sent to Trevor Wilhelm at the Windsor Star after Court proceedings this week which have now been put over to April 21st.
I as a victim of a REAL CRIME was very disgusted by the actions of the staff and President of the Ontario Worker's Compensation Board.

I say it again...DON'T EVER GET HURT AT WORK IN ONTARIO...you will have to deal with these criminals...as they get paid six figure salaries to supposedly "do alot for injured workers" as per Mr. Marshall.

After 2 days of court proceedings I find it very disturbing that you appear to me to being on the side of WSIB, making Frank Brunato a "victim" of possible violent acts on the part of a man who is standing up for
those of us unjustly ruined by actions of the Ontario Workers' Compensation Board.
Before I begin I would like to congratulated David Marshall for proving how much of a coward he was to manage SOMEHOW to squirm his way out of testifying in Court. He is just as good as avoiding justice as Kathleen Wynne is in avoiding the OPP.
So much for summons to court only being avoided only if one is dead.
As a victim of a violent act while in the midst of doing her paid employment back in July 2008, I was sickened yesterday by what I have deemed as "whining" by Mr. Brunato.
He said he was "belittled" and "intimidated" by Mr. Spencers' postings.
All can say to that is HOW DOES IT FEEL?
On July 9th, 2008, I was finishing up a delivery to a place of business when I was jumped from behind, beaten,
dragged behind a store, beaten some more, molested by two men who originally "didn't know" they were beating a
woman, and left me for dead, bleeding profusely from a gash behind my left ear that took 6 staples to close.
My now former employer, Ryder Logistics, never reported the incident to the WSIB....which is illegal.
These same people wrote me up for "resisting during a robbery" which killed my employment in April 2009. If they
had reported they would have had to have kept me, but I was showing signs of PTSD so it was "get rid of her...fast."
Long and short of it is, when WSIB finally did find out about my assault, they denied me 3 times and an adjudicator told me on the phone in front of witnesses on speakerphone that I "deserved to be beaten" and that alone nearly sent me into
suicide watch.
We as a society are now just finding out about PTSD and the stigma surrounding it.
Attitudes like the above are not helpful to people like me and to think Ontario taxpayers are paying people six figure salaries to abuse, intimidate and drive to suicide people who were once productive people in society and through no fault of theirs they made the bad mistake of getting hurt at work. Thanks to Mike Harris, it is a crime to get hurt at work.
The current Ontario PC Party still see it as a crime, in my opinion. So far I have only heard to opinion of a now former candidate for leader, Vic Fedeli, and believe me when I say once again I am not a criminal for being a victim of a criminal act while I worked.
With me, I sure as heck didn't ask those two criminals who have never been caught to beat the daylights out of me, and then WSIB is nice enough to keep the mental beating going.
Not only a mental beating, but also a physical one. At the age of 49 back on November 1st, I had my first heart attack, in front
of my mother and my sister.
My doctor, whom WSIB refuses to listen to, diagnosed it "stress related."
So the next time Frank Brunato screams "I'm a victim"-call me....he has NO RIGHT to use that term....at all.
I also suggest that you get a workers' side of the story at WSIB. There are thousands of them, and some of their families are mourning their loss.
Why...because becoming involved with the WSIB can lead to a death sentence, or in my case....a near miss.
That being said... CAN the whine session, Frank Brunato.
You put on an academy award winning performance
and the Windsor Star fell for it....hook, line, and sinker.
