A calico pattern in the clouds
with sunshine seeping through;
Nature's magnificence often arouses
thoughts of the wonders of you.

The songbirds tweeting their melodies
caress and nurture my ears,
and as I stroll amongst budding trees,
it's tunes of you I hear.

The music of the world brings to mind
the harmonies in my life
and all that you do to search and find
ways to alleviate my strife.

There's much to admire in this wonderful world,
and I can say that I honestly do,
but as much as I cherish all that surrounds,
nothing can surpass the intensity of my love for you.
