I was shocked to see the tragic event of two journalists who were rubbed out in Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia on the local Lake Charles television newscast on Wednesday afternoon. The tragic deaths of WBDJ reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward who were killed doing their job of reporting the news by a former employee who decided to take out his anger on his two his former colleagues just made me shudder that tomorrow is not promised to anyone. I do remember a song sung by Billy Joel called "Only The Good Die Young." Even though I have my beefs with some of the reporters at the Everybody's Stupid Pinhead Network (ESPN) for their reports of the city of New Orleans does not deserve to have a sports team due to the criminal activity in the Big Easy. I took the action of either turning the mute button on their television or changing the channel and watching a movie or show that I like. My thoughts and prayers to the families of the Parker and Ward families who lost their loved ones. Shame on that newspaper in New York City that published the images of the shooting of Alison Parker. As actor and I use the term loosely Robert Downey Junior who once tweeted to me "How can you live with yourself?" after I tweeted to Yahoo Movies that his Iron Man movies "stunk" because the character that Downey performed on the silver screen was not the Iron Man character that was voiced by John Vernon on the Marvel Super Heroes Hour that played on the Southern Command Network on Saturday mornings in the former Canal Zone in Panama. The family of Parker does not need to have that image of that reporter being shot by the thug who later died. Rest in peace Alison and Adam. You enjoyed doing your job of reporting the news as best as you could. It is too bad that we cannot live and let live in peace and harmony without resorting to rubbing each other out just because we disagree on our views of the world.
