Happy new year everyone. This story is about the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise this basketball season. With the return from the Miami Heat by LeBron James to his home state team has not been as rosy as the fan of the basketball team have expected.
As of December 31 2014 which is the birthday of U S gymnast Gabby Douglas who I will not disclose her age the Cavaliers basketball record is 18-14. Cavalier fans expected the team to have a better record than that by now.
There are reports from ESPN who worship LeBron like he is a superhero now are pointing fingers at the owner of the basketball team Dan Gilbert who hired basketball coach David Blatt to coach the team this year.
David Blatt who has never coached in the National Basketball Association might take the fall for the failure of the team before the season ends since Gilbert cannot fire the team or himself.
The reporters at ESPN First Take or as I call them First Fake are making Gilbert the villain for bringing back LeBron as a free agent after he led the Miami Heat to two NBA Finals titles in four years. The funny thing is that the trouble with the Cavaliers basketball team reminds of the New York Yankees during the era where the late George Steinbrenner feuded with his field manager the late Billy Martin and some of the Yankees players. Now on LeBron's 30th birthday LeBron hinted he might be leaving the Cavaliers basketball team if they do not assemble a team that could help him win a NBA title for his home state team. Gee whiz Cavalier fans I just hope if LeBron does leave Cleveland as a free agent you guys do not react to his decision like so called Beatles fans got angry when the late John Lennon made his infamous comment that the Beatles were popular than Jesus Christ. I guess either Dan Gilbert does not know how to run a successful basketball team or if he has an axe to grind with LeBron leaving the Cavaliers as a free agent some time back. Now the savior of the Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has been accused by Skip "Rocky Balboa is an overrated boxer." Bayless of being an alcoholic. Skip give Johnny a break. Johnny is a rookie in the National Football League. He must have gone to the candy store with a sweet tooth when he was billed as the savior of the Browns this year and he ended playing seven quarters before he injured his hamstring. Hang in there Cleveland sports fans. If the New Orleans Saints can win a Super Bowl after 43 years, a Cleveland sports team will win a championship. Of course I am also waiting for a Word Girl live motion picture before I go home to my Maker. Have fun ESPN. All that glitters is not always gold.
