National Basketball Association commssioner Adam Silver is making his views known that with the signing of former Oklahoma City Thunder player Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors recently via free agency he is fearful the Warriors will become a super team.
Well well well, here we go again. According to a right wing website which name escapes me, having a team this considered a dynasty is good for all sports since the super team will draw interest from fans or haters of that team.
Come on Senior Silver the league needs to have a super team to get the humanoids to watch your sport on the telly or attend the games since it will draw interest to the sport of basketball for years to come.
Durant admits he will painted as a villain by Thunder fans since the Thunder were one game away from making it to the 2016 NBA Finals before they lost a 3-1 games lead to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Western Conference Finals.
Okay so Durant did not go on an ESPN show like LeBron James did with his Decision when he left the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat some years ago before he returned to the Cavaliers when he finished his playing time with the Heat and winning his third NBA ring.
Nevertheless Kevin people should understand that they if were in your shoes and another team suggested you have a better chance of winning a title, the fan would also jump at the chance of get their first champiohsip ring.
It reminds of when a pro wrestler who worked for Extreme Champioship Wrestling (ECW) in Philadelphia to work for Ted Turner's World Championship Wrestling before they went out of business or Vince K McMahon's World Wrestling Federation (now Entertainment) the fans inside the arena would chant "You sold out."
Many of the wrestlers would tell the fans the news that when the circus would come to Philadelphia working for their new company the fan would pay his or her money to see the wrestler work.
Do not panic Kevin Durant even though many Thunder fans will paint you as a villain, I am sure if they were offered a better deal to work for another company they would take the bait.
Oh by the way Commissoner Silver do your best to see that the National Basketball Association does not have another lockout or strike when the current collective bargaining agreement expires. I mean who would ESPN kiss up to if the basketball players are on the court playing basketball? Gabby Douglas or Simone Biles? Oh I forgot you humanoids do not like young ladies that wear leotards and eat their vitamins and say their prayers that the bogeyman does not eat their lunch.
